How to: knit using magic loop

One of the notions that I use the most during my knitting is the magic loop. It is very helpful when you need to knit in circle a small number of stitches and you don’t have a small cable to do it. Of course, you can use double pointed needles, but I know that they are quite tricky for someone or maybe, like me, you just like to use different techniques when you knit different kinds of garments. So here it is, a little guide on how to knit using the magic loop. You can cats on for a pattern you are following, but if you are just practising, just follow the instructions below until you are confident enough to use the magic loop in a pattern. Instructions: Cast on 30 stitches and dived them in two keeping the tail of the cable on the left and the needles pointing out to the right
the working yarn is coming out of the back of the needle pull the back needle and you are ready to work with it
work your pattern until you reach the end of the stitches on your front needle
turn the work, you will have again the cable on the left and the needles pointing to the right, just pull the back needle and use it to work
And that’s it
