Uknit Collaboration

You know me, I like to try new yarns, plus these come from where I grew up.

I’ve been trying some yarns by Uknit during the past months. I’ve created a couple of new designs and adapted some old ones. I’ve enjoyed very much working on this collaboration.

I’ve tried: Beet (Merino Extra Fine and Super Wash Treated), Manioca (100% merino wool), Topinambur (100% Virgin Wool) and Ginseng (100% Cotton (gazed and mercerized). I liked them all, but I can’t lie, I especially fell in love with Manioca and Topinambur.

In the next months the patterns will be available and I will tell you more about them. For now I will tell you that one of the patterns that you love the most, Summer Fields Sweater, will have a Winter version!

Ormai mi conoscete, mi piace provare nuove lane, ancora di più se chi c’è dietro al progetto arriva dalle zone in cui sono cresciuta.

Nei mesi passati ho provato i gomitoli di Uknit. Ho creato un paio di patterns nuovi e ne ho adattati altri. Mi è piaciuto davvero molto lavorare a questa collaborazione.

Nei prossimi mesi i pattern saranno disponibili, ma vi dirò tutto quando saranno pronti. Per il momento vi dirò che c’è anche la versioen invernale di uno dei patterns che più vi piace, most, Summer Fields Sweater!
