Collaboration with Balzac Paris, Summer 2019

T-shirt: Balzac Paris, gifted, 100% organic cotton
Skirt: second hand and altered
Market Bag: my design using recycled denim yarn.

If you are following me for some time, you know that I collaborate with a small number of brands. Especially when it’s about clothes, I try to say yes to sustainable brands or brands that are trying to be more sustainable. Nobody is perfect, but trying to be better is something that I relate with a lot.

So I said yes again to @balzacparis.

Why did I choose this t-shirt? In this sustainable collection they had swimming suits and bags (that I don’t use); nice dresses but none of them was a cut that would suits me. They had a lovely skirt, in a very nice colour and cut, but I already have enough skirts for this summer. During the hot months I use many tops, so in the end a t-shirt was the perfect choice for me.

I can’t say I have a capsule wardrobe, but I try to keep just the clothes that I usually wear and when something is not fitting me anymore or I don’t wear it anymore, then I give it away (I gift or donate them). Maybe you can see this process as part of a capsule wardrobe, I don’t know. The point is: this is the mental process I make when I say yes to collaborate with a clothing brand.
