Maybe it’s time to put away the very warm, chunky and cosy sweaters. When I look at this picture and I start to really look at it, I can see growth. The grey sweater at the top of the pile if the first sweater I knitted last year. Since then I wasn’t able to stop. The green one and the black and white one are from two collaborations that I loved to work on. The one at the bottom, instead, is a vintage one. My dad used it when he went to sky years and years ago. I think that sweater might have my age, for sure something around 30 years.
[Credo sia arrivato il momento di mettere via i maglioni super pesanti, quelli che indosso quando fuori è davvero freddo e anche in casa non riesci a scaldarti. Quando mi soffermo un po’ di più a guardare questa foto vedo crescita. Il maglione grigio in cima alla pila è il primo maglione che ho fatto l’anno scorso. Da quel momento non sono più riuscita a fermarmi. Quello verde e quello bianco e nero arrivano da due collaborazioni su cui ho adorato lavorare. Quello grigio chiaro sotto a tutti è l’unico non fatto da me. E’ molto vintage e lo usava mio padre per andare a sciare anni e anni fa. Credo abbia la mia età, sicuramente è attorno ai 30.]

This past weekend has been amazing. C. and me had finally a nice and slow weekend, the kind we love really much. A walk around the city, trying a new place to eat, a little visit to the
and to the comic books store; another walk to eat the first ice cream of the season and lots of time to read.
