Walk Around Spring – In Collaboration with Baabuk

When a brand contacts me for a collaboration I always think about it, of course. I think about the product they are promoting, if it can be useful to me and my readers, if it’s something with a purpose. Or if it’s something that speaks to me, that I would be buy happily for myself or if the story behind the brand speaks to me, then I accept it.

[Quando un brand mi contatta per una collaborazione, ovviamente, rifletto sempre su alcuni aspetti prima di accettare o meno. Penso prima di tutto al prodotto, se può essere utile a me e a chi mi legge, se è qualcosa con uno scopo preciso. O magari è un prodotto che in qualche modo mi parla o che sarei felice di comprare in ogni caso. Mi interessa anche sapere se la storia dietro al brand è interessante.]

With Baabuk happened almost all of the above possibilities. It’s a products that it’s interesting to me: I always struggle to find shoes that I like, that fits my feet (don’t ask me why, but most of the shoes hurt my feet so bad!). Plus the story of the founders of Baabuk is very interesting (you will read about nature, Nepal and a responsible company).

[Con Baabuk sono successe tutte le possibilità elencate sopra. E’ un prodotto che mi interessa: fatico sempre a trovare scarpe che mi piacciano, che siano comode e che non mi facciano male (non chiedetemi perchè, ma quasi tutte le scarpe finiscono per farmi male ai piedi!). In più la storia dei fondatori di Baabuk è davvero interessante (leggerete si natura, nepal e di un brand attento ai suoi lavoratori).

First of all: as I said before, most of the time, I have problems with shoes, so I was afraid that it would happen the same with these Urban Wooler, but as soon as they arrived and I tried them, they were perfect. I do lots of walking, around the city and when I travel, so I wanted to test them in some real way. So I went to some of my favourite spots in Milan and enjoyed the very first days of Spring.

[Prima di tutto: come ho detto prima, il più delle volte, ho problemi con le scarpe, quindi avevo un po’ paura succedesse anche con queste Urban Wooler,  ma appena le ho indossate ho sentito essere perfette. Cammino molto, sia in giro per la città che durante i miei viaggi, quindi volevo provarle in qualche modo che fosse molto vicino alle mie abitudini. Quindi le ho portate a visitare alcuni dei miei posti preferiti a Milano e mi sono goduta il primo giorno di primavera.]

And I can report back that so far so good. Plus you know me, I love wool in every form and if I can wear it while walking around, well, I’m happy!

[E posso dire che per ora non hanno tradito la prima impressione. Poi lo sapete, adoro la lana in ogni sua forma e se posso anche indossarla ai piedi mentre cammino, sono ancora più felice.]
